Summer is in full swing and we’re working despite the lovely weather here on the Oregon Coast. Efforts to fund and gain support are underway with contacts and donors bringing their focus on the needs that all of America has right now … energy, environment, and employment. Camp Liberty US addresses each of those issues with one solution; let’s make electricity out of waste employing veterans to get it done! Every time it’s said it makes sense to anyone listening.
We are at a critical time for the project. The President has declared a national Energy Emergency asking Americans to produce more electricity to support growth within the country. Camp Liberty US can provide that. Over 100 Megawatts of electricity to be specific. The Camp’s location in Douglas County, Oregon is the perfect place to create energy. An old, unused International Paper manufacturing plant that has been closed for over 25 years is the best place to do this. By generating electricity for Douglas County, we make it possible for local control of local utilities. No more relying on California providers to decide whether or not Douglas County gets its share of the watts or not.
Employing veterans is a key component to the whole project. The focus on veterans and their needs couldn’t be greater than right now. Our military veterans deserve and have earned the right to be treated with respect and deference when it comes to employment and training opportunities. And it’s not just the veterans themselves but also their families. Don’t forget, every veteran has a family. Those with wives and kids need to be taken care of because they also served America by supporting their veteran during their service. Camp Liberty US will do that and much more by providing services for disabled veterans, transitioning veterans, and those who served with on-going issues. It’s the right thing to do and the right way to do it.
The environment is not getting cleaner day by day; it’s getting dirtier. What are we supposed to do? Wait until there is so much garbage in the landfills that we have to move the cities to new locations to deal with all the waste? We don’t think so. At Camp Liberty US, the environment is a key component to the work being done by everyone. Cleaning up the environment won’t happen on its own, we have to do something about all the waste we create and at Camp Liberty US, we will do something about it. We will turn it into high-paying, high-tech jobs that provide much-needed electricity. Problem solved!
Three concerns that face Americans right now can be taken care of with one solution. Turn the waste into electricity with veterans leading the way. It’s a battle against ourselves and our trash. Turning something worthless into something valuable is a pretty good trick and it can be done without producing any pollution. What could be better? Join us and support our effort. You’ll be glad you did and so will everyone else in America.
